This throw/blanket is a combination of soft merino wool and silk. The silk is hand-painted by Ellen Bakker.
She then felted the silk with soft merino wool. The end result is a supple, soft felt fabric.
This grand foulard can also be stretched on a wooden frame as a wall panel.
